STARTUP WHEEL 2026: HAPBIO’S ROAD TO THE TOP 30 AT INNOEX
At InnoEx 2026 (August 19–20, 2026), HapBio® Compostable secured four recognitions that move it from product showcase to corporate pilot discussions: the LOTTE Ventures Innovation Award (total value USD 10,000), a Top 5 place in L-CAMP Vietnam 2026 – 1st Batch, membership of the L-CAMP Vietnam 1st Batch Cohort, and the Top 30 of Startup Wheel 2026 – Vietnam Track. For procurement and sustainability teams, the takeaway is simple: new packaging materials are now judged on commercial readiness, not just environmental intent.

Startup Wheel Top 30
After entering the Startup Wheel 2026 Top 100, HAPBIO advanced to the Top 30 of the Vietnam Track. The acceleration stage covered pitching, fundraising strategy and mentoring, with the semifinal and final rounds held during InnoEx 2026.

What InnoEx 2026 Signals for compostable packaging market
Corporate buyers rarely switch packaging on the strength of a new material alone. They need a supplier that can pass sample approval, deliver consistent quality across repeat orders, customize for each application and back every environmental claim with documentation.
Programs like L-CAMP Vietnam test exactly these questions. A Proof of Concept with a retail and consumer group forces a packaging supplier to address operating requirements, market expectations and the conditions needed to move from pilot to commercial supply.
Built for Industrial Scale, Not Just Prototypes
HAPBIO’s recognitions rest on an operating manufacturing base:
- A factory in Hung Yen operating since January 2026, with a design capacity of 34,000 tons per year.
- Products covering shopping bags, garbage bags on roll, produce bags, zipper food bags, mailer bags and pet waste bags, customizable in size, thickness and logo printing.
- Products certified OK compost INDUSTRIAL and OK compost HOME by TÜV AUSTRIA, and BPI Certified Compostable for commercial/industrial composting facilities. Certification applies per material and product; ask us for the certificate covering your SKU.
