On July 8, 2026, at the “World – Vietnam Energy and Environment Forum 2026” under the theme “Vietnam’s Roadmap Toward Net Zero,” HapBio was honored to be recognized among the Top 100 Outstanding Enterprises in Green Energy and Environment in Vietnam 2026.

In the context of international trade, investment, and global supply chains becoming increasingly linked to green standards, green transition is viewed as an essential requirement for Vietnam to maintain long-term growth, attract high-quality investment, and strengthen its position in the international market.

Key topics discussed at the forum included the completion of institutional frameworks for green growth, carbon market development, the promotion of renewable energy, efficient and economical energy use, and the creation of favorable conditions for businesses to proactively develop their own emission reduction roadmaps.

Representatives from government agencies stated that green transition and energy security must be implemented in parallel. These are two crucial factors that enable Vietnam to maintain its growth momentum while meeting new international market requirements related to environmental, social, and governance standards.

According to the direction shared at the forum, Vietnam will continue to improve its legal framework, promote green finance, green credit, green bonds, and support mechanisms for businesses throughout the transition process. In particular, the carbon market is considered an important tool to encourage emission reduction, motivate businesses to invest in clean technology, and promote circular economy models.

In addition, businesses are identified as a pioneering force in realizing the Net Zero target. Proactively integrating ESG criteria, improving production processes, optimizing energy use, and developing sustainable products will become key competitive advantages in the new development phase.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang emphasized that the path toward Net Zero is a strategic choice for Vietnam in its new stage of development. The goal is not only to grow faster, but also to grow greener, more sustainably, and more responsibly toward the international community.

The Deputy Prime Minister also affirmed that the Government will continue to accompany local authorities and the business community, promptly removing obstacles in the implementation of green transition projects. At the same time, Vietnam will strengthen cooperation with international organizations to mobilize preferential capital, access advanced technologies, and promote environmentally friendly development models.
